Hack Manchester 2012 will be held at the awesome Museum of Science and Industry on Liverpool Road off Deansgate, central Manchester.
Your £5 entry fee will be donated to the Museum of Science and Industry* as a thank you gesture for giving us the museum for the whole weekend.
OVER 18s ONLY.
The plan is to get together for a 24-hour coding marathon. There will be an optional set of challenges to overcome and the aim is for teams to produce apps that solve these problems and that can take on a life of their own as useful, real-world tools once the dust and frenzy of the contest have settled.
The museum doors will open at 2.30pm and registration will start at 3pm.
Please bring a laptop, power cables, converters etc. We will provide power supplies and wifi connectivity. There will be comfortable rest areas - feel free to bring a pillow, blanket or sleeping bag. There will be delicious food and drink and all kinds of entertainment throughout the weekend. Best hacks will win prizes!
Due to the 24 hour nature of the event, we're unable to accept applicants under 18. If you're fortunate enough to be blessed with youthful looks, do make sure you bring ID with you.
Evening spectators on Sunday, please aim to arrive for 6pm.
